I really liked Gabriela's (Gabrielacuisine) recipe ... So I said to make it too. A very tasty pilaf and very easy to prepare ...
- 2 cups rice (1 cup rice - 3 cups water)
- 1 onion
- 2 carrots
- 1 red bell pepper
- oil
- salt
- parsley
- 2 ripe tomatoes
Servings: 8
Preparation time: less than 90 minutes
RECIPE PREPARATION Bulgarian pilaf:
We wash the vegetables. We cut the peppers into strips, we peel the carrot and we cut it into slices, we clean the onion and we chop it finely.
In a frying pan with oil, put the vegetables to cook. When they have taken on color, add the rice (washed in cold water) and mix continuously with a wooden spoon (so as not to stick the rice). Let it take on color and then add water. Let it simmer. Add salt.
When the rice is almost cooked, add the washed and diced tomatoes and the chopped parsley.
Serve hot.
