A satisfying and delicious dessert. Donut-like but easier to make, in my opinion.

  • 250 faina
  • 4 g dry yeast (one teaspoon)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 100 milk
  • 20 g of sugar
  • 1 or
  • 20 g butter
  • powdered sugar

Servings: 6

Preparation time: less than 120 minutes

RECIPE PREPARATION Powdered Spiral Dessert:

In a bowl put warm milk, sugar and yeast. Mix lightly. Cover the bowl and leave in a warm place for 10 minutes until the yeast swells.

In a larger bowl, flour, salt, sugar and mix. Add the egg and mayonnaise and mix until you get a compact dough. Add the soft butter and start to knead lightly.

Form a ball and cover the bowl with a towel. Let it grow in a warm place away from currents for about 1 hour.

After the dough has doubled in volume, it is turned over on the worktop.

It is divided into 6 balls.

Cover with foil and leave for 30 minutes.

Each ball is rolled by hand forming a string that we will roll in a spiral.

We place each spiral on a piece of baking paper.

Put oil in a saucepan and when the oil is hot, carefully place the spirals.

Fry them on both sides for 5-6 minutes on each side until they turn golden.

We take them out on absorbent paper and powder them with powdered sugar.
