Crunchy sesame recipe by of 25-01-2009 [Updated on 28-08-2018]
When I saw this recipe in my cookbook I couldn't believe my eyes ... the sesame croquettes that my husband and I love have a homemade recipe! Of course I immediately had to try the recipe and the result was amazing ... these sesame crunches are tastier than the originals and all are really easy to make!
How to make sesame crunchy
Pour the honey into a thick-bottomed saucepan and melt it over very low heat, then add the sugar.
Stirring with a wooden spoon bring to a boil.
Add the sesame seeds to the syrup, mix and cook for about 5 minutes.
Add the coarsely chopped almonds and cook over low heat for 25 minutes.
Stir occasionally during cooking.
Spread the parchment paper on a surface and pour the mixture over it.
Cover with another sheet of parchment paper and with a rolling pin level the surface to a thickness of about 3 mm.
Cut the sesame brittle while still hot with a smooth blade knife and cut the brittle into rectangles.
Allow the sesame brittle to solidify completely before serving.
You can keep the brittle in a tin box for several days without losing its crunchiness;)
