Honey chicken is a really delicious ethnic second course, I have eaten it several times at the Chinese restaurant but so good I have never tasted it. These are chicken nuggets fried in a batter prepared with water, cornstarch and eggs which are then covered with a delicious honey sauce and sprinkled with sesame seeds, the recipe was found by my husband on an American site, he converted me the units of measure from cups to grams and he proposed himself as a taster, so how can you not dedicate the recipe of the day to him? Know that chicken with honey is addictive and once you have tasted it you will want to prepare it again and again and again, Ivano and I have fallen in love with it and I am sure it will be the same for you. How to make honey chicken
Prepare the batter by mixing the egg, water, cornstarch, yeast and salt in a bowl.
Cover the batter with cling film and leave to rest in the fridge for 30 minutes
Cut the chicken breast into cubes and dip them into the batter
Heat the vegetable oil in a pan and as soon as it is hot, start frying the chicken pieces
Cook for a couple of minutes then lift them up and put them on a plate covered with absorbent paper.Cover the chicken nuggets with a lid to keep them warm and prepare the honey sauce
Heat the oil in a work and as soon as it is boiling add the grated ginger and the minced garlic
Cook for 20 seconds then add the honey and mix, Then add the water and vinegar
And finally the cornstarch and simmer for 2 minutes
Put the chicken nuggets in the bowls and pour the honey sauce over each one
Garnish the honey chicken with sesame seeds and serve
