The lemon oil cakes are soft, fragrant and really tasty cakes. If you are looking for a sweet to bring to the table at the end of a meal then this is the recipe for you. To make them, I was inspired by my land, rich in tasty and fragrant lemons, and that's exactly how my lemon and oil cakes are born.

How to make oil and lemon tartlets
Separate the yolks from the whites. Start whipping the egg yolks with the sugar in a large bowl
Add the oil, milk, juice and lemon peel then continue beating the dough with the electric whisk.
Stir in the flour and baking powder and continue mixing.
Now beat the egg whites until stiff.
Add them to the mixture and mix it gently with a spatula with movements ranging from bottom to top.
Once you have obtained a homogeneous mixture, pour it into single-portion molds. Then bake in a preheated oven at 180 ° C for 15 minutes. Once cooked, take them out of the oven and let them cool
Meanwhile, prepare the icing by mixing the icing sugar with the lemon juice in a bowl.
Now cover the cakes with the glaze obtained
Decorate with lemon wedges. Your oil and lemon tartlets are ready to be enjoyed.
